1. Kozen's Aion Mastery GuideQuality: Excellent Kozen's Aion Mastery guide covers mainly leveling in Aion. Both Elyos and Asmodian factions are covered in this very detailed and amazingly well done guide. All quests are covered step-by-step, and most of them include very helpful screenshots and maps. The biggest thing that makes Kozen's guide stand out from its competition is a number of other useful guides, for example a kinah making guide, Abyss guide, and several others. You can check the website for a full list. By purchasing Kozen's guide you also get exclusive access to member forums and a big number of helpful videos which is more than I can say for other guides. It's a bit more expensive than the number two guide reviewed below but in my opinion it's worth it. Overall, this is really the best Aion leveling guide you can find. Conclusion: I think this guide is excellent and the value for money outstanding. Kozen's Aion Guide is currently my top recommendation! |

2. Killerguides Aion Strategy GuideQuality: Excellent Killerguides Aion Strategy Guide is for those who are looking for more than just a leveling guide. This guide is a complete reference to pretty much any game's feature you can think of, and will soon become your best friend. The authors really know their stuff and worked a lot to get this guide polished and detailed and it really shines in comparison to some other. The leveling guide might not get you to the cap in 5 days as some other guides claim, but there's no doubt it will save you countless hours compared to figuring it out yourself. There's step by step instructions for both Elyos and Asmodian starting areas and you'll have no trouble following it. For a more detailed list of features I suggest checking their site, but there's stuff in the guide also about kinah making, professions, PvP and a lot more. Killerguides Aion guide is overall a really good guide, but unfortunately for them Kozen's guide is in my humble opinion a bit better. |

3. KFGuides Aion Leveling GuideQuality: Good KFGuides publishes both an Asmodian & Elyos leveling guide. Free updates of the guide are included with the price. The most important downside in my opinion is the fact you have to buy Elyos and Asmodian leveling guide separately. Killerguides and Kozen for example have both factions included in one guide. KFGuides leveling guides are nicely written and have maps and screenshots to better guide you with questing. I can't recommend it over the two guides reviewed above but nevertheless it's a quality guide. |

4. FTWGuides Aion Leveling GuideQuality: Good FTWGuides is a well known publisher of leveling guides so you can be sure they know what they're talking about. Their leveling guide is really detailed and like most other includes screenshots. This guide is different from the others: it comes in online form which makes it more interactive. For example, all quests are linked to Aion Armory which certainly saves time. Like KFGuides above, this guide also sells Asmodian and Elyos leveling guides separately, which is also the biggest downside. Kozen guide for comparison has a lot more to offer and I suggest trying that one. |

5. Fantoms Aion Asmodian Leveling GuideQuality: Low Fantoms Aion Asmodian Leveling Guide is currently the lowest rated guide for a number of reasons. It's not complete to level 50 as the author claims. If you purchase it you will get free updates, however it's unclear when that might happen. Other guides are already complete or nearly done so why wait. Kozen's or Killerguides guides for example have a lot more bonus guides for the same or lower price and include both Asmo and Elyos leveling guides unlike this one. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Fantoms guide. If it gets updated I'll change the review accordingly. |

1. Killerguides Aion Kinah GuideQuality: Very Good Killerguides Aion Kinah Guide is currently the only kinah making guide on the market. Inside there's an abundance of tips and strategies focused solely on making kinah. There's many ways to spend your kinah, and definitely less ways to actually earn it, but this guide can help you take advantage of every one. Whether you like crafting with professions, gathering materials, farming rare mobs and items, grinding elite mobs, playing the auction house, doing instances or whatever else, you'll find enough working strategies in this guide to make you a fortune. There's dozens of unique opportunities to make gold in Aion right now before the word gets spread out and not taking advantage of it will cause you many headaches later on. As I said, this is the only kinah making specific guide currently available, but it's an incredibly good one. Conclusion: Best kinah guide, highly recommended |

2. Kozens Aion Kinah GuideQuality: Good Kozen's Aion Mastery guide is currently my favorite leveling guide, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the kinah making guide. The included kinah guide in Kozen is more than helpful to anyone, however Killerguides really did the best work here and they specifically talk about this subject so it's more detailed. If you decide to get a leveling guide, Kozen's guide is the best one and you'll certainly find uses for the kinah guide inside, however if you're only interested in kinah making I recommend Killerguides instead. |

Kozen's Aion PvP & Abyss GuideKozen's Aion Mastery Guide is currently the only guide with a dedicated PvP / Abyss guide as well. Killerguides talks a bit about it in the strategy guide and more in their class guides, but Kozen's guide is much more detailed and offers more for the average player. Despite being more or less the only PvP guide for Aion, Kozen's guide has enough info to help you learn the basics of player versus player combat and teach you some new things. |

Aion Class GuidesQuality: Very Good I'm going to save you some time and review all the above Aion class guides together, since they are published by the same company -- Killer Guides -- and have the same basic structure. They all give advice on your class skills and abilities, as well as gameplay strategies like soloing, PvP and grouping. When you think about it, learning those things are basically what learning a class is about. All guides also have a chapter on leveling and money making but, to be honest, don't expect too much from those chapters. Trying to squeeze all that into 100-150 pages simply means they aren't going to be very detailed. Nevertheless, they are a good help compared to figuring everything out for yourself, but if you're looking for more advanced leveling and kinah strategies check out the guides above. The strongest chapters are those that revolve around the essence of the class, i.e. abilities, skills, stigmas, equipment, and gameplay advice. All guides aren't exactly the same; some will address instances, PvP and professions and many other tips, while others may not, but they all have one thing in common, and that is the fact they're still very useful even if you're not completely new to the class. Free updates for these guides are included for life; you can simply download updates from their member area. However, they make no guarantee about how often updates will be made (at this point, it's usually after each major patch or class changes). The bottom line is that these guides will teach you plenty of new things about your class you didn't know, but if you already have months of playtime don't expect miracles. It's the best leveling guide and includes additional guides such as kinah making, PvP guide, stigma guide, crafting guide and a lot more. It's easy to understand and follow and has plenty of videos so you can further expand your knowledge about these topics. Kozen's guide is currently the best strategy guide as I already said and you won't regret purchasing it.

It's a well-rounded guide, but if you're looking for really detailed guides on leveling, kinah or specific classes, check out the guides written exactly on those topics -- they are much more detailed. Conclusion: Well rounded guide for new Aion players. You may also want to check out the "Aion Complete Guide Package", which includes this guide & all other guides by Killerguides (including kinah and class guides), plus all other upcoming releases and updates. |

Killerguides Aion Strategy GuideQuality: Good Again, for new players this guide is the only one I can recommend at this point. Hopefully, there will be more in the future, but this one is more than enough for familiarizing yourself with the basic and some advanced features in Aion. As an alternative you can try Kozen's guide as well, but that one may be a bit too detailed for a beginner. Nevertheless, if you're not afraid go for it! |
